My name is Nick McMillan and I am 13 years old.  I attend Shattuck Middle School in Neenah, WI.  I have been riding for 2 years.  My dad first bought me an after market four stroke 100cc pit bike.  I had never been on a motorcycle before the pit bike.  We have a field across the street from our house where I began riding.  It was a blast but it didn't take long for me to get bored with it.  There is a Yamaha dealership (Team Winnebagoland) not far from our house where we stopped in to see what they had for bigger and faster MX bikes.  Come to find out they also have an MX track on their property.  My dad bought me a Yamaha TTR 125 trail bike from Casey B. our favorite MX racer around.  After purchasing the bike I was allowed to start riding on their track.  That's where the fun began....  While riding we began to meet up with a lot of nice parents and kids in the sport.  We were invited to numerous tracks including Gravity Park USA in Chilton, WI.  When we went there I forgot my key to start my TTR so one of my new friends Mitch Jensema let me try his YZ 85.  It was scary but I made it around the track.  Well guess what my dad (and mom) bought me a YX 85 and the practicing began.  The next 3 months my dad was laid off from his job so we rode everyday.  It was the best.  We raced the Dirtgrinder Series at Gravity for about 6 races.  I placed 4th in the 85cc Junior Class and 9th in the 85cc Open/Supermini.  Then of course winter came.  The good thing about winter was I got to pimp my YZ all out.  You know ASV's, Pro Taper bars, FMF shorty pipe and muffler, blue sprocket, new grips, graphics, etc.  Oh, we also traveled to some indoor tracks like Waterman, IL and Sandbox Arena.

It was a long winter but I made it.  In April 2009 the Gravity Park Dirtgrinder Series started again.  There were 20 races and we went to them all but 3.  I entered the 85cc Senior and 85cc Open class where I placed 1st place in both categories.  I have made a lot of new friends and even made some real good friends.  Just want to thank everyone who has helped me learn all about riding and racing dirt bike.
